Hey Everyone,
I don't know if this would go here or not but it seems to fit. My buddy Gary over at Trekkerprise and I did this little video in a format of The Federation News Service. I would love to know what you guys think about the video. I hope you can get a laugh and see an episode of DS9 from a different perspective. Thank you so much for tolerating me on this one. You guys are awesome.
Also since this is a discussion board I would love to know what you guys think about the Federation News Service. Do you think it is a truly independent free press system? Other people seem to think that it's just an extension of the government and is therefore not independent. This seems rather important with the current news so I'm wondering what Star Trek can teach us about it.

Too damned much background noise/SFX. Bad mics. Hard to hear the dialog. Bad sound kills any film.

This flip -flops between in universe and real life, which, I do not enjoy, the in universe part was fun. The real life part was ok.
It reminded me of the Faster Than Light news shorts on Sci-fi from 20 years ago

This isn't what I thought it might be. I had the thought it was a new fanfilm in which a story or event in the Trek universe was covered like a news broadcast.

For someone out there it could be an interesting approach. If you like the idea take it.
