Civvy Street - def: "Ordinary life outside the armed forces"

Our Star Trek heroes (and villains) often seem satisfied with their roles within the show, but what if they decided to retire and move onto another career outside of Starfleet (or their equivalent)?

Your challenge is to imagine and depict just that:

Pike as an Orion Slaver?
Picard as an Archaeologist?
Spock as a Merchant?
Gowron as a Targ-Herder?
Or, what if the Enterprise was retired and refitted as a luxury liner, or the Galileo as hot dog van?

You choose.

Usual rules apply: each entry should be a new composition made for this challenge.
Mulitple entries are still allowed (I believe?) and with February being a short month, we'll keep to the two-month format for now.

So, please e-mail your entries to Ptrope "at" gmail "dot" com and/or post your final entries in this thread by the 31st March.

Have fun! :D

Quark finds a deal on an old Starfleet dithium hauler at an Orion scrap yard after the destruction of DS9 and sees an opportunity to not only have the first "legal" warp capable casino/bar, but his own "Emporium of All Good Things" Rom is of course holding the old girl together, even after a new paint job and a few fancy upgrades, such as the scrolling advertisements on the Hull and Nacelles!

Hold on there, it's a two month contest this time. ;)

I've got an idea or two. I just have to find time put an entry together.

Ah, crap. For some reason I was thinking it ended at the end of February! Not sure how I got that into my head. :alienblush:
