Contest: ENTER Feb Art Contest - Alternative Trek

Hey, so I hope that this is a good one and something that a lot of people might be able to get involved with. As I look around the Art forum I see that people have different type of Art skills ranging from 3D rendering, Digital art, photo manipulation and hand drawn work. So this contest I am hoping can bring everyone in.

The theme is Alternative Trek.

So this is what your interpretation of what Trek could look like in different universes, kinda like the Mirror Universe. As there is different possibilities in endless universes it would be cool to see different interpretations of our fav Trek characters, ships, devices or anything Trek related.
The Vulcans can be evil beings and the Federation on the verge of extinction as an example.

So you can create alternate looks to existing characters, new unifrom types, different type of ships, alien species pretty much anything.

This quick-and-dirty sketch is all I had time for, unfortunately.

Nice art but I’m not a fan of needing a long paragraph to explain an drawing.

^ Me neither, but time was not on my side for this one (is it ever, for anyone?), so I thought the explanation necessary for the very basic drawing so people knew what they were looking at. Actually, as I was writing it, I wondered if this shouldn't go in the Fan Fiction forum instead

To make matters worse, T'Cael's right hand is in a very awkward position for his fingers to be where they are on Ry'iak's hand. I wonder what he did for Ry'iak to hold him so uncomfortably?

Yeah, that's a spaghetti noodle of an arm! But I like the uniforms, and figured it was a mesh of Romulan and Federation uniforms even before I read the text.
