Fearful Symmetry is here!!!!!

My local Border's had the book in-stock last night, so I picked up my copy. Now I just have to finish re-reading the relaunch so I can start on it!

I'm so frustrated, I know the local Borders has it, but I'm totally broke. So it appears I won't be able to actually get it until I get a job and get my first paycheck.

Mine's on order from Amazon UK so I've got at least another two weeks before I get it. I'm also waiting for Dawn of the Eagles on a separate order - and a particular CSI book by our very own KRADmeister.

I have to check my Borders tomorrow. I think I'm going to go reread Warpath.

Got mine today, together with Vulcan's Soul 3, the later being roughly twice as thick as Fearful Symetry. Looks somehow cute... ;)

BTW, any chance that Olivia Woods takes the chance and pops up here? Could certainly be interesting to chat a bit with this Newcomer to Trek-Fiction. Perhaps one from the authors or PB-Staff present here can give her a little hint? ;)

I am so behind on my Trek reading, it will take me forever to get to Fearful Symmetry! I got bogged down in Mission: Gamma and then sidetracked by other novels (like the inferior Star Wars: Legacy of the Force serie).

I managed to pick up my copy of Fearful Symmetry yesterday, along with a copy of Peter David's newest book, Tigerheart, which seems to be a retelling or a remix of the Peter Pan mythos. I've still got about a fourth of the last Terok Nor book to finish before I start on either -- or both -- of those other two books. It's pretty rare for me to attempt to read two books at once but since it's the summertime I think I've got it in me.

Finally! I got my copy today at Borders. I decided to take a break from the Terok Nor books while I focus on this one.

I got my copy yesterday and I read Illiana's story and I think Oliva Woods did a terrific job writting this novel.:bolian:

Well, I finally got my hands on FS, so as soon as I finish Warpath I'm gonna go ahead and read it. I'm pretty anxious to get started, because I'm very curious to see what the horrible thing that happened to Iliana was.

Amazon UK are still piddling round with my delivery date - only two more days that they can deliver it if I'm going to pack it to read on the plane! More frustrating is I ordered it with two DVD's and said I wanted the whole order dispatched when everything was ready - but they've already sent out the two DVD's over a week ago, so even if I saw it somewhere else, I can't cancel the order!

Really? Mine says 2nd week of August -- how are you getting it earlier? Did you order from Amazon or a marketplace seller in the States?

From regular Amazon. I ordered it about three weeks ago - along with Clash of the Titans and Jason and the Argonauts for my partner - and the two movies arrived the week after the order was placed.

The Fearful Symmetry part of the order, when I go into the My Orders section, says that the book will be delivered between the 4th and 15th of July and on the FS main page, says delivery within 1 to 3 weeks

Now, I'm going to be in Canada from next week so if it doesn't come by Tuesday AM, then I may as well have not ordered it and picked it up whilst I'm over there.
