Favourite weapon?

I thought Species 8472's Death-star-level energy weapons were pretty awesome.

I liked Nomad's close-in red shirt-killer.

I like the phaser rifles from FC, INS and NEM. But they needed to be made stronger so they don't break if you hit someone with it. And it could use an under barrel microtorpedo launcher.(torpedoes are controllable)

Nope.

Kirk-Chop has no equal.

Do that or the flying butt kick on the playground and you'll get your ass handed to you.

That's why they're called "dropkicks" after all: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dropkick

Forget the Varon T. The Vidian organ removal beam, the transporter gun used to beam away Picard--all nasty.

My favorite weapons were from the enemy of the week. Deela, the Scalosian--simply stepped away from Kirk's phaser beam, but her weapon effect was instantaneous--beyond FTL.

The Kelvins had a device that could reduce a whole crew to little boxes that would fit in one shuttlecraft (or wraith ship for that matter). Kirk should have confiscated at least one of all these devices for a one man invasion of the Klingon homeworld!

The people who took Spock's brain could disable a whole ship's crew with their bracelet devices, Flint could shrink a starship down--and last but not least, the Tantalus field--that's the one I want.

Hey Charlie X, where is that setting to make John Boehner and Congress go away?

I've often wondered how that part of the set didn't fall down or at least move when Shatner bounced off of it. If I tried that in my house, I'd go right through the wall. (ha, yeah, like I could ever do that move in the first place... I'd end up in the hospital)

I actually like that moment. It shows human weakness. Kirk made a bad move.

As I see it, Kirk misjudged the situation mainly because of the wall, missed, and hurt himself in the process. Even though he was stabbed shortly thereafter, he fought on, still won the fight, and managed to avoid getting killed. There was probably some luck involved in surviving.

Favorite energy weapon: a tie between the pistol phasers from Final Fronteir/Undiscovered Country and the phaser rifles from First Contact/Insurrection.

Favorite non-energy weapon: Worf's mek'leth. Yeah, the bat'leth is cool, but you really need some space to wield it well. For close-quarters combat, the mek'leth makes more sense. (see: "Way of the Warrior")

When I was in sixth grade I actually used this move on a bully that had followed me home to try and start something. It sent him home crying and I never had any trouble from him again.

I think their costumes were made from the same materials as the Klingons, too. However, the Eminians suck. :p

If for no other reason than I hate their hats.

Finally revealed: the real reason Vendikar has been at war with them for 500 years.

That's some bad hat, Harry.

No love for Ferengi energy whips?

Is it just me, or did the Ferengi energy whips look like over long, limp sex toys?

Probably just me.

The spear/pruning hook from Gamesters of Triskelion (don't remember if it had a name). You just poke a thrall with it and it's a minor irritant. Heave it with some force though and you elicit some pretty awesomely dramatic groans, retching, and convulsions!!!!! :techman:

TOS Type 2 phaser with removable Type 1 for easy concealment. These are the 23rd century equivalents of the Swiss Army knife.

My girlfriend said she likes this:

Myth Busters pretty much confirmed what seems obvious, that this will blow up in your face, but maybe the random bamboo deposits on Cestus 3 are stronger than Earth stuff.
