Favourite thing...on toast!

Honey, esp. Attic Honey. I just love the thyme notes that come through. It's surprisingly (ridiculously, really) hard to find the real thing in the UK, so I brought a couple of pots back from Greece earlier this year.

Peanut butter. Best quick breakfast ever. I also like some garlic butter on toast, as a side dish for pasta dinners.

For breakfast, just butter. If it's later in the day though I like to put some turkey, mayo and stuffing on it if there's any available.

Creme-cheese with strawberry jam.

However I am quite sick of toast/ fluffy unhealthy breadlike things right now and just would love crusty, wholegrain bread with a little butter, chives and tomatoes.

TerokNor

Peanut butter, coffee, olives, and feta cheese. Those are what I gave Borglund to work with in the Black Hills.

I actually don't even own a toaster, I just realized that the other day. As a general rule I dislike crunchy foods. If I get toast at a restaurant for breakfast I will usually put strawberry jam on it and peel away the crusty edges.

Yeah, I like those peanut-butter-flavored chocolate chip cookies. The consistency issue might be part of it, because I have a similar issue with squash. I can't stand mashed squash, but I love squash pie.

Nutella chocolate hazel nut spread...

Sunny side up eggs...really runny.

Butter on toast with light sprinkle of sugar.

I love so many things on toast...

Unsalted butter and either strawberry or apricot jam
Unsalted butter and honey
Unsalted butter and sugar (used to be my favourite as a kid)
Unsalted butter and Marmite

Unsalted butter, smoked salmon and cream cheese with chives
Smoked ham, emmenthal cheese and mustard
Roasted turkey breast, jarlsberg cheese, iceberg lettuce and mayo

Sometimes I blend tuna (in olive oil, strictly), mayo and capers (in coarse salt, -not- in brine) and then use it as a spread on toast. Yum.
Obviously I drain the tuna and wash the capers...

And Nutella, of course.
