Favourite Sitcoms

My wife and I have a pile of sitcom DVDs that we cycle through for dinnertime entertainment. We often put a series back in the pile a few months after we finish it. I was musing before I saw this thread that there are some that I just HAVE to watch every once in a while:

Taxi
Dick Van Dyke
Barney Miller
Night Court
Hogan's Heroes
Get Smart
WKRP
Python (Monty)

I guess those are the big ones for me.
Also in our rotation at the moment, though not considered "essentials":

Grounded for Life
Titus
Roseanne
Hot in Cleveland
2 1/2 Men
Big Bang
Cheers
MASH

I guess it depends on your definition of sitcom. If MST3K counts as one, then it is by far my favorite. Of current shows, I really like Portlandia (technically a sketch comedy, but with recurring characters and situations), mostly because I lived for a while in the Pacific Northwest, and the show does a great job of capturing the goofy pretentiousness of the area.

In no order whatever:

As Time Goes By
The Golden Girls
The Good Life
The Nanny
Friends
May to December
Yes, Minister / Prime Minister
A Fine Romance
Man About the House

...among others.

As Time Goes By and the Good Life are two of my favorites also.

I really like the "Women and Women First" skits from Portlandia. So funny!

I'd also name "Veep" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" as two of my favorites. Veeo follows a familiar formula but the acting is so great, who cares? Same with "Curb". Show specializes concerns itself with dealing with the "extremely ackward moment". Larry David is otherworldly funny.

Man, I'm out of touch. I watch very little TV.

I do follow Mad Men and Better Call Saul.

I tried LIKE HELL to get into Agents of SHIELD and got as far as Episode 7. Really, really horrible acting by the younger cast. I just couldn't take it anymore. I've been wanting to give it another chance since I like the Marvel Cinematic Universe so much, but damn.

Anyway, my favorite show of all time is Star Trek TOS. I've come to the conclusion now, as I prepare to enter my 40s, that NOTHING will ever top this as my favorite show. Quite simply, as awesome as some shows are, there's TOS and everything else. So here's "everything else":

1) The Sopranos
2) Mad Men
3) D'ffrent Strokes
4) Facts of Life
5) Happy Days
6) Laverne & Shirley
7) The Love Boat
8) Battlestar Galactica (new version)
9) Kung Fu
10) Amazing Spiderman (Nicholas Hammond)

Also enjoyed:

11) Breaking Bad
12) Nip/Tuck.
13) Batman (60s)
14) Batman TAS
15) The Green Hornet
16) Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter)
17) The Shield (one of the best series endings EVER)
18) The Incredible Hulk (Bill Bixby)
19) Twilight Zone
20) Silver Spoons

As for favorite sitcoms, I really like:

ALF
Home Improvement
Full House

Yes Minister/Yes Mr. Prime Minister (I've caught a few episodes here and there, but I've never seen the entire series, and when ever I see the DVD's they are usually selling for $70 - $90 dollars new).
Others that I enjoy watching, but not as much as my top 3:

Family Matters
Growing Pains
The Honeymooners
