I love Simon & Garfunkel. They were a huge influence on my writing. My favorite S&G song, and favorite song period, is "The 59th Street Bridge Song."

"I am just a poor boy
though my story's seldom told,
I have squandered my resistance
for a pocketful of mumbles, such are promises"

Tough choice, but I chose Homeward Bound.

I also really like The Sound of Silence and The Boxer.

"Bridge Over Troubled Water," then "The Boxer" and "The Sound of Silence." But really, they're all great.

Can't really choose between "Scarborough Fair" / "Canticle" and "The Boxer". "Sounds of Silence" is very close behind.

Can't pick. My favorite(s) could fill up a best of album. And have. I suppose if I have to pick, it'd be "Old Friends," for purely sentimental reasons.

America, followed closely by The Boxer, Scarborough Fair/Canticle and Cecilia,

I'd have said Scarborough Fair, unfortunately it's slightly tainted by being an almost straight copy of the song as done by English folk singer Martin Carthy.

So I'll toss it up between Sounds of Silence and Bridge over Trouble Waters (there's a bass section in there I really love).
