Weird how "Children of Mars" is only available on the Picard season one bluray outside of the US. It was never shown when Netflix had Short Treks and so I've only ever seen it once. Short Treks aren't on Paramount+ in the UK.

"Children of Mars" is good... but "Ephraim and Dot" & "The Escape Artist" are my faves.

Calypso is great, and Children of Mars is incredibly well done. Both hit emotional chords.

The rest are ok-to-forgettable.

Calypso, The Escape Artist and The Trouble with Edward for me.

Short Treks were hit and miss, but those gems made them worthwhile and there is value in the opportunity to experiment and tell little stories. It's a shame they are no more.
