Interesting topic, for me anyway.
I grew up on the US west coast. I don't know what it is, but "west coast pizza" is very different from anything I can typically get anywhere else. I can't say it's objectively "better", but being what I grew up with and ate for the first 25 years of my life, it holds a special appeal for me.
That having been said, I do like all different styles of pizza and different combinations of toppings depending on my mood, from all veggie to carnivore's delight.
We have two favorite places, but they don't deliver: one makes the closest thing to a "west coast pizza" that I've ever had out here, and my fav is mushroom, olive and pepperoni; the other makes a wonderful, rustic brick oven pizza, and my fav there is kalamata olive, goat cheese, baby spinach, tomato (or eggplant) and artichoke hearts.
We did stumble upon a pretty good delivery place, much the way
SmoothieX did. When we moved out of downtown Boston to the "burbs", we tried several different places, but none of them really wowed up. Then, one night on a whim we tried this place that left a flier in our mailbox, and they're the best we've found. And fast. They make several good pizzas, including BBQ chicken, Buffalo chicken, and "steak bomb", but my favorite is their combination with pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, onions, green peppers and hamburger.

I usually don't have to eat for 2 days after we order from there.
And finally, we actually make our own pizza more often than not, especially in the nice weather when I can grill it. Once I finally figured out the whole grilling pizza thing, we were hooked. Our favorite for that is prosciutto, sun-dried tomato, caramelized onion, goat cheese and fresh basil (and I usually put kalamata olives on half for me.) In the summer when we have fresh tomatoes from our little garden, we'll add those or substitute those for another topping - one key to grilled pizza is to keep it light.
Now I'm hungry.
