While that may be technically true, I think it sucks that his last words were a call back to that idiotic Mel enforced exercise scene, which (from what I could tell) was only there to take a jab at Colin Baker for gaining weight. God forbid they let The Doctor go out with some dignity :sigh:

Mel was a fitness nut and spent more of her time on the Hyperion III in the workout room. And really at the time nobody knew that'd be Colin Baker's last line as the Doctor. Be thankful the series didn't stay cancelled after Revelation Of The Daleks, his final scene was a freeze frame.

Tom Baker, Davison and Tennant's final scenes were more emotional for me, with Tom getting the nod he was due to how I saw his seasons the Doctor far longer than his seven years. And he was my first Doctor and the only Doctor saw for a long time.

While he's not one of my favorite Doctors, I love the way that Eccleston goes out, reassuring both Rose & the audience and reminding us of what we were missing by his having such a short run. "You were fantastic, absolutely fantastic. And you know what? So was I." :D

Pertwee & Tom Baker had the most iconic final lines. And McGann's "Physician, heal thyself," was just awesome!

I agree, and as I said in my post I think it sums up the glorious return of Who. After sixteen years there was an element of doubt about whether it would work again and it did magnificently.

Eleven by a country mile.

While his last episode was something of a catastrophe, his last moments hit me in all the feels.
