Kirk and Uhura on Plato's stepchildren.

I know Christopher actually answered this a long time ago in a thread not too far away...

Elaan of Troyius actually after Plato's Stepchildren, but the thing that always gets me is that nothing is being said about that other interracial kiss.

It's not so iconic; it's double standard...and obviously due to the racial attitudes of the time.

Anywho....:)

The Kelvin scene at the beginning of Star Trek 2009. This is the most iconic scene in all 40+ years of Trek, IMO.

This.

Especially that dialogue between Starfleet and the Kelvin communications officer. Awesome.;)

The shot at the end of DS9s "Call to Arms".

This as well.

Captain Kirk in Return to Tomorrow: "Risk... Risk is our business. That's what this starship is all about. That's why we're aboard her."

That's a GREAT moment. Forgot about. I hadn't watched that ep in years. I had to replay that moment. In the Detroit museum Trek exhibit, that clip was playing on a tv showing what Trek was all about.

I voted for Locutus. This was really an awesome moment.

I disagree that "Mr. Worf. Fire" was more memorable. Seeing Picard as a Borg was really as iconic as it gets...

Of course, that was before Starfleet officers started getting routinely assimilated and de-assimilated

For me, it was in TWOK when Khan was hunting for Kirk inside the Mutara Nebula, and then there was the shot of the Enterprise swooping up behind the Reliant...

SURPRISE!
:scream:

A tough decision, but I voted for "The line must be here", especially when teamed with "You broke your little ship".

"Mr. Worf. Fire" is also an excellent suggestion.

I can't take Spock's death, and specifically his funeral, seriously any more thanks to that Youtube video with overdubbed Monty Python. I thank my daughter for showing me that video and ruining the moment for me!

It's gotta be the bar scene in "The Trouble with Tribbles" when Scotty defends the honor of the Enterprise by throwing the first punch and causing a huge brawl.

Spock's death in TWOK is probably the best overall, but it was and still is one painful thing to watch.
