Favourite Heroes Character

What's Your Favourite Heroes Character?

I absolutely love Ando, I think he's a great character and ever since he got his red lightning super charger ability he's just become IMO the embodiment of awesomeness. His power is by far my favourite. :D

I just wish we could see more of him kicking ass with his ability. I wanna see him walking through building 26 (or whatever number it is) flinging red supercharger lightning everywhere and taking out the feds.

To see him take down Sylar by supercharging one of his abilities would be the greatest end of all time.
He could supercharge his healing ability so he turns into one big enormous tumour or something.

My favorite is Peter, mainly because season one was mostly about his journey, even if the following seasons he became as stupid as the plot required (mainly because the writers are stupid).

Honorable mention goes to Ando, Noah and Claude. Ali Larter is hot, but I could do without her multiple characters.

^ Based on the last episode, it seemed like Sylar had killed him and was using his power on Claire.

^I disagree. Sylar has typically shown a much finer level of control over the powers he steals than the original "donors" ever demonstrated. Claire's movements were crude and awkward. He was just using his old fashioned telekinesis to move her around, that's my theory.

My favorites have always been Hiro and Ando, I've always found them funny even if I had problems with Hiro's plot-convenient powers. Aside from that, Parkman, Angela, Noah. For recurring characters I liked Elle and Daphne and was very cross when they were offed. In the first season I really liked Mohinder but he became a useless douche after the first season.

That could be quite a good idea, actually. I could see Ando supercharging the super-hearing ability Sylar got off that mechanic. That would be a great way to at least incapacitate him - he'd be bombarded by sound, confused, unable to concentrate, in enormous pain. That would allow Ando, or another hero, the opportunity to finish him off.

Another cool thing about Ando is his reaction to his power. He still has a lot of enthusiasm for the idea, and has a level of excitability, but he's less emotinally driven than Hiro is. He also seems to be, when he's allowed by the writers, more level-headed, and maybe even a bit smarter.

I love Hiro; he's just too adorable.

I used to love Mohinder, because he was the conscience, the Greek Chorus if you will, of the show---until the writers totally RUINED him. Argh. Peter and Nathan also got the "I'm incredibly stupid for no reason" treatment.

Other than Hiro, I really, REALLY loved Claude. I do wish they'd bring him back. I know--never going to happen--but he was fantastic: smart, witty, sarcastic, a bit amoral, and very paranoid. Well, that and the fact that he was played by Chris Eccleston.
I just keep hoping Claude will suddenly appear and save the day.

I'll go with that invisible guy. Though I barely remember him. The more a character is on that show, the more annoying they tend to get.

Favorite: Peter, idiocy and all. :rommie: Can't help but love that guy.

I'm also very fond of Nathan and recent events have done little to diminish my fondness. Perhaps that's because a big part of Nathan's appeal for me is Adrian Pasdar's amazing acting skills. Metaphysics are a secondary concern.

Angela has rocketed to the highest pantheon of the dangerous, morally-grey antihero, right up there with Scorpius, Ben Linus and pre-S7-Dukat - and like Dukat, with that tragic dimension that keeps you watching just to see the catstrophic fall. Yep, the frakked-up Petrelli family really makes this show.

Matt is a terrific character, too. A resolutely decent guy with the most dangerous powers of them all, that carry huge inherent potential for evil - fascinating to watch him cope and make up his "rules" as he goes along.

Mohinder and Ando could be terrific if the writers put some work into them.

Character most deserving of elevation to regular status: Micah.

I'm increasingly indifferent to Noah - I dunno, I think they've taken him as far as they can go with him.

No hopers: Claire, Hiro and Tracey in all her boring incarnations.

And Sylar, well where would this show be without him? I can see how it might be a lot better off. He sure has taken over as the focus of the show because there's no other central element for the other characters to focus on. In his absence, a better central element might have emerged - or maybe it would have been an even more unfocused, scattered mess? I can't tell if Sylar has killed this show or is saving it.

Favorite guest stars: Elle, Danko and Matt Jr. That baby's got star power!
