Favourite combadge design?

So, what's your favourite combadge design and why? Mine is the rectangle-backed one. I think it still looks futuristic while remaining stylishly elegant. I think the oval-backed one has aged quite a lot.

And yes, the TOS movie era badge eventually became a combadge - you can see Lt. Castillo use it as such in Yesterday's Enterprise.

Ive always been a fan of the All Good things style future badge

I always like the oval backed design since I grew up on TNG. Also like the All Good Things design too, but voted for the oval.

We need pictures! Not that I can't remember them I just like looking at them. I liked the VOY etc. combadges the most. I hated the oval backed ones *shudder*.

I like the 'Future Imperfect, Parallels' style ones, which incorporate the rank insignia into the badge design. Those were neat.

And I always preferred the later DS9, VOY, and Next Gen movie version of the combadge to the TNG/DS9 seasons 1-2 oval design.

I voted for the All Good Things, though it's a toss up between that at the Generations version. That just looked a lot nicer to me than the TNG version and it's actually alittle annoying seeing it in early DS9 as the later commbadge looked better on the uniform.

I quite liked the militaristic Khan version though.
