Favorite Weyoun Moment...

I am a huge fan of Jeffrey Combs, who brought Weyoun to life. Weyoun was such a complex character, his interactions with whoever he was with were always memorable, wheather he was with Sisko, Kira, Dukat, Odo, Damar...ect. Were always great, I was wondering do you have a Favorite

Weyoun moment/moments...

Resistance is Futile

- Worf killing Weyoun #6 on the spot and then Weyoun #7 walks in to a room where Damar is sitting and he just says "Oh hello!"

- Kira pleading with him not to allow Rom to be executed but he just wants to talk about Ziyal's painting.

- All of his scenes in "Treachery, Faith and the Great River".

- "OUT! Now! Don't look at him, I'm telling you to LEAVE!"

- His scene with Sisko in "A Call to Arms". It's so polite and friendly and they walk out of there like hostilities between the Federation and the Dominion are over. Yet, the regular viewer has a mental subtitle track translating every word they're saying in to what it really means. The Dominion has no intention of limiting their convoys to civilian aid and the Federation has no intention of removing the minefield.

- (Weyoun drinks an entire glass of poisoned Kanar) ""Oh My... that is quite toxic, isn't it?", "Oh, I'm immune to most toxins. Comes in very handy when you're a diplomat."

There's a scene I wish they'd left in that they cut from "You Are Cordially Invited". It turns out that while the station was occupied, Weyoun was living in Bashir's old quarters. Inside there are some interesting little insights in to his character. Bashir finds he has been collecting shoes, drinks coasters, bits of string, broken bottles, spent power cells, picture frames and broken chair legs just because he was fascinated by them.

That goes with the scene in "Treachery, Faith and the Great River" where he eats everything on the Runabout replicator's limited menu just because he wants to find something he can taste.

...Which causes Damar to burst out laughing. That scene does so many things in a fraction of seconds:

*Lets Worf be badass
*Let's the audience revel in the killing of a character written to be annoying. (In a sniveling way.)
*Kills off a character without that dirty death-cheat after taste you get so often.
*Demonstrates Damar's frustration with his position and contempt for Weyoun/the Dominion
*Lets Damar look badass with the laughing and what not
*Sets up a further joke and further character dynamic

Drama, pathos, and dark comedy. That's probably the hardest laugh I've ever had in Star Trek.

The Weyoun 7 death scene and the follow up with Weyoun 8 is up there.

I also really like Weyoun and Damar's conversation during "Tears of the Prophets" about Weyoun's view on the Prophets and Founders.

Thats oddly brilliant. I wish I could steal that

I quite liked the scene mentioned with Ziyals painting and almost every scene he had with Damar when he became Legate.

The one that stick out is one mentioned in another thread where Damar is speculating about the war inside the wormhole at the beginning of Season 7, and his brief conversation with Damar about Gods and the Founders.

One of my favorite scenes in all of Star Trek:
Weyoun: All this talk of gods strikes me as nothing more than superstitious nonsense.
Damar: You believe that the Founders are gods, don't you?
Weyoun: That's different.
Damar: In what way?
Weyoun: The Founders ARE gods.
The scene is perfectly delivered.

And, for sheer comedic delivery:
"Time to start packing!"

^ Weyoun 9 is mentioned as collecting trinkets in the Dominion section of the Worlds of Deep Space 9.

Didn't know it was based on a deleted scene until a few weeks ago. I thought it was just something the author came up with.

Ah, okay. I don't read the novels. I'm getting my Weyoun numbers wrong too. I thought Weyoun #7 was the last Weyoun we saw on the TV show but I realised that's wrong.

I am in awe of this piece of information! Was this scene filmed? IF so maybe it will make it's way into some future remastered DS9. It's so fascinatingly Weyoun.

I liked the conversation he had with Jake, when Weyoun was holding back Jake's stories and Jake was like "what about freedom of the press!!??"
Weyoun said, I think, "Tell me you're not that naive..."

I enjoyed the scene in "In the Cards" where he's interrogating Jake and Nog--and ends up telling them, "I believe you. The FIRST story!"

I always wondered if after that whole debacle, Weyoun went and explained everything to Captain Sisko in private--considering Jake never got in any more trouble for the supposed "drunk" episode.

And the Jem'Hadar turning to stare at him when he says it and probably wondering if he's gone mad...

I'm not sure... maybe they fessed up when they gave him the card? But it'd be nice if Weyoun did- but then he'd have to admit to kidnapping Jake and Nog...

Has anyone mentioned the scene (tho the ep was mentioned) where Weyoun is playing Dabo?
"I like games!"

Marie--considering the whole episode ended with people being uncharacteristically nice, I thought it would've fit if Weyoun did do the explaining.

(Plus it makes him all that much more an asshole when he went to war in the next episode, after doing a "sweet" thing like getting Sisko's son out of trouble!)

I love every single second Weyoun is on-screen, it's all pure gold.

Impossible to narrow it down to one moment - they are all brilliant.

Hahaha!!! You're right!! I'd forgotten how soon that turn around came!

And its so funny how it happens because Weyoun is such a little guy with purple eyes... and just so awful! That would be a perfect contrast...

Exactly why it's one of my favorite scenes in all of Trek :D
