Favorite Trek paperbacks

There are a bunch I like, hard to remember all but as for favorites:

The Good That Men Do - Andy Mangels and Michael A. Martin
The Forgotten War - William R. Forstchen
AOTF - ?
A Time to series
NF - 1-4 (first 4) - Peter David
Titan - Taking Wing - Michael A. Martin and Andy Mangels
several of the DS9 & TNG relaunch
SCE - Aftermath

I just realized I forgot to mention the awsomeness that is The Mirror Universe books.
ETA: And Strangers from the Sky

Gee, I don't know if I can remember titles. I pretty much read TOS or DS9 books, although I've read a smattering of TNG/VOY books. In no particular order:

Sarek - which made me cry.
DS9 relaunch. Not a loser in the bunch.
The Romulan Way. My favorite Trek book ever.
The others (My Enemy, My Ally, etc.) in the Rihannsu series
The "A Time to" series. Like the relaunch, not a loser in the bunch.
A Stitch in Time - wonderful insight into Garak

The TOS book with Saavik's backstory. Ah. Pandora Principle (Thank you PsiPhi) Wonderful book
Vulcan's Forge and sequels. Vulcans and Romulans = good.
Eugenics War books
Assignment: Eternity
The Gateway Books

The Worlds of Star Trek (I wish more of these were forthcoming)
Harbinger
And of course, the SNW books

Those are the ones I remember. I'm not upstairs where all of my books are, so I can't refer to them. I'm bad on titles and have probably missed at least ten of them.

A Time to Kill/A Time to Hate
If you were referring to my TNG "Time to..." duology, the second title was A Time to Heal.

A Time to Hate was the second volume of Robert Greenberger's duology, which started with A Time to Love.

D'OH!
[/homer]

yes, ATT Heal...

sorry...

i'll buy Destiny as a penance. wait, that's no penance, i was buying it anyway...:)

The Romulan Way - Diane Duane & Peter Morwood

I could go on but you get the idea.

Ishmael.
The Final Reflection
Strangers From the Sky
The Romulan Way
Rise and Fall of Khan...(Both books)
Final Frontier
I also like the Mirror Universe trade paperbacks and the SCE titles.
I read an omnibus DS-9 novel that was quite good but can't remember the title. Same thing for a time-travel story involving an error made by Scotty.
There was an anthology released back in the early 80s by 2 women called(I think) New Voyages. One of the stories was

"Visit to a Weird Planet Revisited". Highly rec this story.

Engines of Destiny by Gene DeWeese.

The two women were Sondra Marshak and Myrna Culbreath, and they actually did two anthologies, but not in the 1980s: Star Trek: The New Voyages in 1976, and Star Trek: The New Voyages 2 in 1978. The story you refer to was in the first of those, and was written by Ruth Berman.

Anything with Q in it.
A Time To... series
New Frontier series
Warpath
Buried Age
The Genesis Wave trilogy
And more that I just can't remember at the moment.

Man, this is a tough one... but just to name a few...

In fact, I just started writing a list and realized that most of the Ds9 Relaunch was on it, so I'll state that the whole thing is pretty much gold along with Millenium (especially Twilight, Lives of Dax, Cathedral, Rising Son, Avatar and A Stitch in Time), The Good That Men Do, Serpents Among the Ruins, Fallen Heroes, Greg Cox's Khan books, the New Frontier books...

Plenty more I'm forgetting but I've still yet to have my coffee. heh.

And since I finally got to it and finished my read through of the Relaunch, I'd like to add Warpath to my "especially" list. Great read, and I couldn't put it down.

Cruicible : McCoy has got to be about the best ever written IMHO.

Then ...The Kirk book in the same series is likely the worst! How did THAT happen?

:wtf:
