Favorite STAR TREK show? --- February 2008 edition poll

I was a little surprised that ENT was beating VOY, but I'm really shocked TNG isn't getting more love.

I guess a lot of its fans end up gravitating more toward either TOS or DS9. Does this usually happen in these polls?

I think they gravitate more toward DS9, I know I do.

I chose DS9 as my favorite - even if I grew up loving TOS more. It seems I like the arcs and the story flow a bit more, I guess.

That said, TOS and DS9 will always be my tight favorites, followed by TNG. Then, nothing.

Sorry guys, but the other two shows didn't do it for me.

I've been watching TOS recently and there are two things you have to give it up for:

1)It has the best music in all of Television history. Especially in episodes like "Amok Time" or The Gorn one. The music in TOS is so exciting they can even make casual walking seem exciting.

2)The fights. They have bar none, the best bare knuckle brawls in TV. What they lack in space battles they more then make up for here. Half the time you can't but yell to yourself "JUDO CHOP!!"

I like the cast of Voyager a lot but I did not like many of the story lines or the cheap defeat of the Borg at the end by use of time travel.

I recently watched all episodes of DS9 and it strengthend my love for TNG. DS9 is just the usual bunch of idiots in Star Trek suits.

They all went bye bye in the big changeover. But they work (sorta) now, if you don't mind the risk of being beamed over to the ENT forum after voting.

The reason I was cautious was because I once gave my opinion about Voyager on another forum and lets just say it didn't turn out well.

At least in the past I know VOY fans have said they usually don't venture out of the VOY forum for that reason. I don't know if things have changed, but that might be a factor in the low vote count. In the past they usually didn't know about the polls in here unless someone announced it in the VOY forum.

TOS for me, no other show comes even close, and I literally mean that.

TOS is my passion it's my love. It is Star Trek to me, the rest I couldn't care less about (except for the eps in TNG, VOY & DS9 where cast-members from TOS appears) :thumbsup:

TOS is my favorite as well. I never will forget watching it with my Dad and Grandpa when they did a marathon for one of the anniversaries of Star Trek.

TNG and DS9 switch between second and third place constantly, and ENT and VOY switch for fourth and fifth. Though like others, I do enjoy them all.
