Favorite season preferences of all series/films

I know this stuff has been posted a million times so bear with me because I haven't been on here much in awhile.

For Trek fans that have seen all series and films

How would rank the seasons broken down by each series and the films as well from best to worst

TOS 1-3

TAS if you have seen it all of course seasons 1 and 2

TNG 1-7

DS9 1-7

VOY 1-7

ENT 1-4

Films 1-12

How would you rank them best to worst within their individual series? And the films too.

Ignore this thread if you think it is redundant.

Bout to do a long run through of all it over the next couple of years. Already working through ENT and DS9 again. Haven't seen all of TOS or VOY yet.

Just want to get an idea of expectation level for each season.

I know most fans including myself haven't sent them all but I plan to in the near future.

Probably seen about 70 percent of all Trek if I had to guesstimate.

Star Trek

Season 1 -- I like the early Star Trek because it was focused on the strange, new worlds and did little with the crew outside of Kirk and Spock.
Season 2 -- This is the most iconic season, but I think I've seen these episodes too much.
Season 3 -- I really hate this season, although, I admit, I have not seen a handful of episodes.

The Next Generation

Season 4 -- Again, the season that had the best writing and focused on the strange, new worlds.
Season 5 -- I love the preachy episodes in this season.
Season 3 -- Well-executed episodes, but they don't really reasonate with me as much as the fourth and fifth.
Season 2 -- When it was good, it was very good, when it was bad, it was very bad. And I can say that about every season hereafter for TNG.
Season 6 -- notable: Chain of Command
Season 1 -- notable: Encounter at Farpoint
Season 7 -- notable: All Good Things...

Deep Space Nine

Season 4 -- This is the cold war in the conflct with the Dominion. We know that war is immediate, but it hasn't been declared and it leaves the Alpha Quadrant tearing apart itself out of fear. One of the boldest seasons in Trek.
Season 6 -- The War. Enough said.
Season 5 -- The big story arcs go through a waning period, but the character episodes like "The Begotten" are too good to ignore.
Season 2 -- I loved seeing early relationships and how they changed. They did their first really good season and that endears me to it as well.
Season 3 -- The start of the conflict with the Dominion. The effects on the station (like population) was extremely enjoyable.
Season 7 -- Not a bad season. It doesn't have a lot of clunkers. Part of me wishes the war had ended in season 6 just to give us time to make peace with the Dominion.
Season 1 -- When it was good, some of the best Trek (In the Hands of the Prophets, Duet).

Voyager (I guestimated, it's been a long time since I watched it, some of the seasons in the orginal run when I didn't have the time to sit down every week and watch it. Don't take my opinion too seriously on this one.).

Season 2 -- I like that they stretched their legs a little in storytelling.
Season 1 -- A for effort, D for making me think.
Season 3 (guesstimate)
Season 4 (guesstimate -- only seen a handful of episodes)

Films

The Wrath of Khan -- Is my favorite, been my favorite for a long time.
The Motion Picture -- I love it on a purely science fiction level.
Insurrection -- I love that they do some actual exploring.
The Undiscovered Country -- If the Klingons wanted to conquer, why all the cloak-and-dagger?
The Voyage Home -- I really don't like any of the movies from here on in. I'll just keep my opinions to myself.

I can't even imagine being able to rank all of the seasons of each Trek season. But, I can saw that I didn't like Season 3 of Enterprise. Having a whole season of a prequel series where the whole point is to save Earth was pointless!!!

I loved the last two seasons of TNG. The characters were really becoming more real as their nuances matured.

Best to worst :

TOS : 1, 2, 3
TNG : 3, 1, 4, 6, 5, 2, 7
DS9 : Been too long, but generally speaking S4 onwards has most of the good stuff.
VOY : Been too long, gave up after ~ 3 seasons, memories are not fond!
ENT : Gave up after half a dozen episodes. From memory it made VOY seem like The Sopranos.
FILMS : TWOK, TMP, TVH, TUC, TSFS, FC, Darkness, 09, TFF, NEM, GEN, INS.
