I like the actor and the character of Phlox, but every time I see him now that I have seen Dear Doctor I think of what he did in that episode and it makes me have the heebie jeebies.
Wait until you see Similitude.
I'll have to agree with Mach5, I don't dislike the character because the writers didn't understand what they were writing about. Yeah, he allowed a whole civilisation die a needless death, but according to the episode this was the scientifically correct thing to do. I dislike the episode because of what happened, but I don't blame the character or the actor for a shoddy script that should have been rejected by their science consultant.
