Which is your favorite season of the Sopranos and what makes it your favorite?

I'm torn between season 1 and season 3.

I'm torn between season 1 and season 3.

I feel the same way. Season 1 probably had the better story, it was better planned out and had a greater climax, but season 3 was quieter, more character-focused and it has Pine Barrens. I'd say that 3 has a very slight edge.
