Favorite Scenes...

2 of 10

Captain
Captain
I have a few favorite scenes from my watching Voyager for some time and thought I would share a few of them with you. I'd like to get some feedback on a few of yours...

1) The Omega Directive:

While Janeway is on the planet where they had found the Omega Particles, Seven is on Voyager constructing a Harmonic Resonance Chamber to contain Omega. She has assigned Voyager personall Borg desinations for the sake of being efficient. Harry will have no part of this and starts fixing something that he was not assigned to. When he is confronted by Seven, she demotes his from 6 of 10 to 2 of 10 and tells him that he is now assigned to Chamber Maintenance. This scene always cracks me up...

2) Real Life:

When the Doctor creates his own holographic family, they are too good to be true. He then invites Kes and B'Elanna to have dinner with his new "family" after a few minutes B'Elanna stops the progam, and tells the Doctor that this is not real life and he will never learn anything from these "Lolipops"...

3) Futures End Pt2:

After a long night running around LA, Rain wakes up to find Tom trying to rig her AM/FM Radio into a transmitter to no luck. Tuvok walks up with "Breakfast" which includes Barritos, Foot long hotdogs and Golith Gulps. Rain says "this is is not breakfast its more like a afternoon at Dodger Stadium"...

There are so many more, these are just a few that I thought of...

Resistance is Futile

I have a lot, but the first that came to mind when I saw this thread was the moment in "Year of Hell" when Janeway hugged Tuvok...and he hugged her back. It's actually one of my favourite scenes in all Trek, not just Voy. :bolian:

These are all wonderful. :) My favorites are the romantic scenes between Seven and Axum in Unimatrix Zero. I just love that guy; their situation is so tragic. I wish there had been some way for them to be together in real life.

Two scenes immediately spring to mind.

1. The last scene from 'Dark Frontier' Janeway & Seven in cargo bay 2. I love that scene.

2. I love the opening scene of "Good Shepherd", just brilliantly done with the zoom in on the ship showing all the activity & I think it ends with Janeway in her ready room.

my favorite has to be when neelix left. that was like a sigh of relief.

also, when kes was becoming the phoenix so she had to leave voyager. that was sad. but i also liked her return as dark phoenix and went to returned to voyager and eventually her people.

In no particular order...

Serious:

1. "Symbiogenesis" - Janeway's walk down the corridor after her decision
2 and 3. "Latent Image" - The doctor is finally shown what made him "malfunction" (actually, that's several scenes with the intercuts), and prior to that when Seven went to Janeway's quarters to discuss the value of mechanical verses biological life
4 and 5. "Resistance" - Janeway takes on the role of a prostitute, and Janeway takes on the role of Rokana (sp?) to comfort her "father" on his death bed
6 and 7. "Coda" -Chakotay's grief in Janeway's halucination and "Go back to Hell."
8. "Resolutions" -

9. "Counterpoint" - The final bridge scene

Silly:

1. "The Cloud" Neelix's "better than coffee"
2 and 3. "Fair Haven" Katie O'Clare's first night at Sullivans and
DeleteWife.gif

4. "Ashes to Ashes" Janeway's pot roast, the greatest weapon in the Delta Quadrant
5. "Bride of Chaotica" The conference room "Who did you have in mind?" scene

BOD,

You are totally right, I loved the first scene in "The Good Shepard" the way that the power request makes it way from Astrometrics all the way down to deck 15 into the hands of Mortimor Herrin was classic all the way.
Good Call !!!

These are all wonderful. :) My favorites are the romantic scenes between Seven and Axum in Unimatrix Zero. I just love that guy; their situation is so tragic. I wish there had been some way for them to be together in real life.

I'm so with you on this. If we had to have the Borg and Endgame, I would have loved to have Axum "help out" in some way and see the two of them end up together. He's a much better match for Seven than Chakotay. :borg::borg:

The scene where Torres admits that she loves Tom. Her difficulty in saying the words and finally gets them out. Her face during that time was saying what her lips could not.

Well acted by roxanne.

I love how in Endgame, Janeway kisses Tuvok's head... :) So sweet...

And definitely Tuvok's dance in Homestead... lol...

Most of my favourites have already been mentioned but I'll add the final scene of Caretaker. The Speech.

Funniest and fondest scenes of Voyager:
"Tinker, Tenor, Doc, Spy": When the doc sings: 'Tuvok I understand, you are a Vulcan man...' :guffaw: I laughed for weeks after I watched that episode!
The episode of the smart bomb..forgot the name of the ep..I think it was towards the end of season 5?? When Chakotay tells Tom that they have to find a way to disarm the bomb..and Tom says something like: Good luck! It's got an internal sensor array..if we so much as to try to loosen a screw..BBBBOOOOOMMM!!! :guffaw: I laughed for twenty minutes.
Any scenes with the Doc are hilarious..:D

More serious scenes: in "Deadlock" where the two Janeways decide to self distruct one of the Voyager ships..it made me gasp for air!
"Coda" Where Chakotay desperately tries to revive Janeway..it had me in tears.
"Lineage" where B'Ellana asks Tom if their future daughter is gonna be wonderful enough for him..she was treated like a monster and she was afraid her daughter would be as well..he tells her that 'someday I hope it's three or four more klingons'. Also had me in tears..WONDERFUL EP!
"Resolutions": The angry warrior legend/speech. *sigh* I wished a man would say that to me!
Another more memorable scene was in "Basics Part 1" The very end where the Kazons take over Voyager and Maj Cullah is sitting in the Captain's chair laughing histerically. I literally give that guy the red raspberry and throw something at the TV set! Then spend that whole entire summer wondering and worrying what was gonna happen and if I was ever gonna see the show again(was moving that June and hoped our new house had UPN!)
