I'm watching "The Time Warrior" as I type, and right from the start she just rocked.

Doctor: You're the virologist, Miss Smith?
Sarah Jane: Yes. Who told you?
Doctor: I read your paper on the teleological response of the virus. A most impressive piece of work.
Sarah Jane: Thank you.
Doctor: Particularly when I realised you must have written it when you were five years old.
Sarah Jane: Ah. Err...yes. That is rather difficult to explain, isn't it?

Becoming a fan with Nu-Who, "School Reunion," and the first season of The Sarah Jane Adventures is pretty much my experience with the character, but what I saw, I liked.

I really did love her and Rose's attempt to one-up each other. It really showed the great adventures each companion had.

Sarah: I saw things you wouldn't believe!
Rose: Try me.
Sarah: Mummies.
Rose: I've met ghosts.
Sarah: Robots. Lots of robots.
Rose: Slitheen. In Downing Street.
Sarah: Daleks!
Rose: [smugly] Met the Emperor.
Sarah: Anti-matter monsters!
Rose: Gas-mask zombies!
Sarah: Real living dinosaurs!
Rose: Real living werewolf!
Sarah: [emphasizing each word] The Loch Ness monster!
Rose: [stunned] Seriously?
