[The Nth Doctor]

Tough call, but I have to go with The Pirate Planet if for no other reason than nostalgia. It was one of my first Doctor Who serials (I started off young so I can't recall what I saw first) and it's a ripping fun story. The Pirate Captain, Mr. Fibuli, a giant factory that devours whole planets, fantastic Douglas Adams script, K-9 vs. robot parrot, and of course, the lovely Romana I. What's not to love?

That being said, The Androids of Tsra is a close second. Mary was absolutely brilliant in four different roles!

Been thinkin' I'll go up to B&N next week & get the Key to Time series, since that's the one place I know will have it.

I've seen Romana II stories, but none of the Romana I episodes.

went with The Pirate Planet, but i also really like The Armageddon Factor and The Androids of Tera too.

Can't decide, can't have one without the others, they're all superb, they all have their factors that put them in the running for best, and they're all part of one big story.

Stones of Blood easily, though it's a hard choice. I'd follow that by Androids of Tara, Pirate Planet, Ribos Operation, Power of Kroll and Armageddon Factor.

I have to say, I'm surprised by all of the love The Stones of Blood is getting. Other than Amelia Rumford, I thought the serial was rubbish.

This is my favorite series of Classic Who and I love all six stories! Romana I is my all time favorite Classic Companion, I *LOVE* the bitchy interplay between her and the Doctor. And this is the high point of Tom Baker. He is so hilarious in this season, right before he gets all dark and depressing in the later seasons.

1. The Pirate Planet. my all time favorite Classic Who. Hilarious.
2. Stones of Blood. nigh perfection. I particularly love the Doctor at trial.
3. Androids of Tara. I like the swashbuckling adventure.
4. Ribos Operation. great supporting characters.
5. Armageddon Factor. a little too dark and a little too long.
6. Power of Krull. definitely the weakest one but still enjoyable. I love that the villain is the size of a skyscraper!

I went with the Ribos Operation. I love when the Doctor and Romana first meet. I also like the beginning when the White Guardian stops the TARDIS cold.
