Favorite Opening Credit Sequence?

A tie between TOS and Enterprise. I grew to like Enterprise's because of the awful song and the fan edits of replacing said song with everything from the Generations theme to a Steven Seagal song.
And Voyager and DS9's credits were booooring. Get up and leave the room boring.

If ENT had had Archer's Theme for the opening credits, that would have been my favorite... In any case, the images during the opening are my favorites...

I like the openings for ENT and Voyager.
Star Trek is all about escapism and making you feel good, it's cheesy but I like Enterprise's the most. I can't feel bad while watching and listening to that. DS9 and VOY's themes just makes me feel sad.
The DS9 theme, seasons 4-7, with Voyager coming in close second, and DS9-early in third.

They were epic. They implied a great, massive scope, full of wonder and majesty. I like to turn up the volume when the DS9 and VGR themes come on. Gives me goosebumbs every time.

I really liked ENT's opening credit sequence - even the song. But it would have been even better if they had used the score from the end credits. I really loved that one.
Still, VOY's theme was the best one for me. Music and imagery just fit together perfectly.

I did like DS9's visuals, but the early-seasons theme was so much in the Fanfare for the Common Man-knockoff mold which had been being beaten to death for almost a decade at that point that I really didn't like it at all until the more fully-orchestrated version came along later.
TNG's... meh -- it really began to grate, well before the original run had ended; that splashy John Williams-Lite style was also pretty thoroughly overdone by the time the series began.

I don't think any of the Trek series have had bad opening sequences. VOY's had some great visuals and pretty good music, though I dare say that DS9 (particularly seasons 1-3) had better, bolder music. I actually rather like ENT's credits from seasons 1-2 (before they ruined an otherwise fine theme song IMO).
They've all been great, thereabouts. TOS is bloody iconic, and whilst TNG is essentially the same, it has the excellent TMP music that makes it great.

VOY is also a really nice piece of music, and even ENT's naff pop song is good for the opening credits because it tracks with the series'/Archer's origins quite well. I really hated it when they made it more upbeat during season 3 though, when the storyline was a little darker/downbeat. They really missed the boat with that one.

The TOS opening sequences for seasons 1-3 is something that I never tire of because the opening monologue is a primer that sets the stage for the upcoming adventure that awaits us.
Unfortunately for TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT I hold the fast forward button for those opening sequences on my scratchy old VHS/DVD player.
