Favorite one-off women characters?

Not a comprehensive list, just some one-time appearances I remember.

My favorite is Arissa- Odo’s brief affair before Kira. Dey Young also played intriguing characters in TNG and ENT

Second favorite - Fenna: Sisko fell in love with a psychoprojection. When Fenna/Nidell became a widow, why did he let her go so easily? Even if she couldn’t remarry, they could’ve had more time together.

Third: Lenara Kahn, widow of Jadzia’s former symbiont host -- a tender reunion

Others, no particular order:

Natima Lang - Quark’s proud Cardassian lover

Melora -- Bashir’s physically disabled patient

Melanie - young aspiring writer. Liked that she was played by Andrew Robinson’s daughter

Korena - older Jake’s wife

Varis Sul - Bajoran Tetrarch of the Paqu

Miranda O’Brien- alternate timeline descendant

Sakonna - Vulcan member of the Maquis

Eris - Vorta agent for the Dominion

Larell - alien thief posing as Morn’s wife. Sexy mudbath scene talking with Quark

Vaatrick Pallra - Bajoran wife of collaborator. Quark sure gets some gorgeous women

Onaya - Jake’s vampire “muse” - scary

Haven't seen "Rules of Acquisition" for awhile, but Pel was an interesting one-off character - disguised herself as a male.

T'Rul was sort of pasted into the episode and interacted with the main characters in limited ways, but she was wonderfully acerbic.

Lots of great characters mentioned already. Vanessa Williams' Risan character Arandis was fun. "Curzon was a great friend, until I killed him". Arandis made it into a novel as well.

Yes! thanks for reminding me of Arandis - Vanessa Williams looked stunning and the scenes with her were enjoyable despite the flaws of the episode.

I liked the Carddisian scientist who thought O'brien was coming onto her because he was being grumpy in "Prophecy."

When I met Tracy Scoggins, she said she loved wearing the Cardassian makeup so much she wore it leaving the lot and also while between takes on the lot and scaring some of the tourists.

(Tracy Scoggins is, by the way, gorgeous. Even under Cardassian makeup... supremely gorgeous.)

Yes, she is! and I read that interview where she said she actually enjoyed the makeup, and that the scientist Gilora Rejal was a fun character to play.

Interesting….I thought the scaly look was sort of lizardy….or spoonheads as some called them.

Haneek the Skrreean leader in “Sanctuary” was made-up to look unappealing - her red hairdo was the worst - but the actress Deborah May is beautiful…. also played the blond villain Lyris in VOY.

Kira Meru, the mother who became a comfort woman to save her family in “Wrongs darker than death or night” was mentioned several times but think she only appeared once.
