As I type this, I'm listening to Big Boss Confrontation from Super Metroid. In fact, I find myself listening to a lot of music from Super Metroid. I also tend to listen to music from other games, such as:

Crateria Underground - Super Metroid
Bloody Tears - Castlevania II: Simon's Quest
Castle - New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Hyrule Field Night Theme - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Underground Theme - Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Castle Course - Yoshi's Woolly World
Halo Theme - Halo

What are some of your favorite tracks from games?

The music for Metroid was great and perfect for the inherent weirdness of that game. Perfectly captures the essence of the game

I've never been a big video game score person, sicne almost every single one I've heard has put me off, including ones praised likes "Journey" (2012) and one by a female composer from recent times that I don't recall the name of off hand.

I did connect a lot of the synth and sample heavy score to "Knights of the Temple" by Gustaf Grefberg. Samples:
