Favorite Main character(TOS)

If people have seen my Best Captain poll, I'm going to do various polls for all of the Trek universe.

For my favorite character in TOS, it has to be Spock. Because of the internal conflict he has because he is half-Vulcan and half-Human. He is torn between his Vulcan logic and his human emotions. But he is the only cast member of the Original Series that was more human than all of the human members.

I'm a Kirkologist in the first place, but for me it's always been the Kirk-Spock-McCoy dynamic that's most important for TOS. I think it would be a mistake to single one out - it's not only the magical ingredients, but the ingenious mixture that makes TOS so special.

Because of the complete disparity of screen time and lines, I just don't know enough about the characters other than the big three. Anyway, of those, I vote Kirk.

A wery estute obserwation. Must have been inwented by little old lady in Leningrad.

I always wished Uhura and Chekov were paired off more, like in 'The Trouble with Tribbles.' They played well off each other.

I had to vote Spock as well. Kirk was clearly the main focus character, but personally I felt Nimoy handled his role better than Shatner handled his. And of course, the two of them together worked so well... better than any other team since then (Picard/Riker, Sisko/Nerys, Janeway/Chakotay, Archer/T'Pol).

After looking through a huge box of old pictures, my wife and daughter noticed I've had my hair styled like season one and two Kirk for the last thirty years.

So I'll go with Kirk.
