My absolute favorite was probably

Just the way he said that was so poignant--because it was true, in that moment, for all his icy calm, you could see that Spock just absolutely needed his world, at least in the smallest and most petty sense, to be orderly, to work. And Uhura got it right away. With a human man--Kirk, definitely--he might have wanted her, or at least want her to just cradle him and hold him. But not Spock. Its not that he's "keeping a stiff upper lip" in that he wants her to hold him and simply stays stoic, like some sort of Clint Eastwood type. Its that for him, he needed to cling to structure and order and logic and rules. And I think it says a lot about their relationship that she was so instantly willing to comfort him on his terms rather than her own.
