Shran was good, and he had good chemistry with Archer, as well as the rest of the ENT cast. but he was held back by ENT's lack of story realization and inadequate material. especially toward the end of the show, I felt Shran turned pretty bland, almost as if Combs had lost interest.

:wtf: Shran was better toward the end of the show! You never saw the Andorian arc?

you're new to the board, right? :p

I saw ALL of ENT. every effing bit. heck, I was staff at TrekUnited fighting for the show to be back. it's Trek after all and I miss it. but I still think Shran was kinda meh at the end. I think Combs was losing interest.

The correct answer to this question is Weyoun. :D

Brunt is good too, but even Brunt can't hold a candle to Weyoun.

"Time to start packing!"

I strongly disagree with this. Combs is a consummate professional. It's impossible for him to give anything less than an immaculate performance in any and every performance he ever does. In my view Combs made TATV a great episode just for his scenes alone, and was by far the very best thing the Enterprise show ever had going for it from his first performance on that show to his last.

In contrast to some of the posts on page one of this thread, I shall also defend Tiron as a great character because of what Combs did with him. The look he gives Quark about why he wants a holo Kira, instead of responding verbally, is classic. Tiron easily could have been a disposable character in the hands of an average actor, but because of Combs' performance, I cared about what was going on with Tiron. Besides that, the Tiron subplot was the only watchable & worthwhile part of the whole "Meridian" episode.

I concur with the consensus that Weyoun is the best. But any Jeffrey Combs character will always be inherently amazing, so really it's impossible to make a bad choice about favorite Combs character.
