Favorite Jeffery Comb's Character?

Re: Favorite Jeffery Combs' Character?

I'm tempted to say "All of them!" as I love Combs (BTW, I think you misspelled his name in the thread title :vulcan:). But Tiron wasn't really a highlight for me.

Edited to ask: And what about Penk? I know, it's really tempting to forget about this episode. ;)

Re: Favorite Jeffery Combs' Character?

Weyoun, especially Weyoun 4 ('To the Death') & Weyoun 6 ('Treachery, Faith & the Great River'), with Shran a close second.

Tiron was actually a dull character, even though 'Meridian' marked the first time Kira called Odo "sweetheart", and Brunt was irratatin'.

All of them! Jeffery Combs rocks! That ep of ENt when he and the rest of the "make-up" actors appeared as Ferengi pirates would have been WAY more fun if they had no alien make-up and we could enjoy the actors for once. I so wanted that. *sigh*

Check out DS9 'Far Beyond the Stars' - Nana Visitor, Rene Auberjonois, J.G. Hertzler, Mark Alaimo, Armin Shimerman, Terry Farrell, Michael Dorn, and Jeffrey Combs all had roles without alien make-up.

And DS9 'Shadows and Symbols' had Casey Biggs in a non-make-up role.

I think it is genetically impossible for Jeffrey Combs to give a bad performance. That said, Weyoun is such a scumbag, (all of them) how can you not love him/them?!

He was also great as Herbert West in 'Re-animator.' I met him last year at a convention in Toronto--nice guy, real short, but he told me he didn't think he'd ever do any appearances in any incarnation of Trek again. Not because he didn't want to, but rather because of the direction the franchise seems to be heading in.

All of them. I just can't choose. And I liked even Tiron when I saw him running away at the end of the episode :D

No! Your experiments are sick and depraved!

No no... we could save everyone!

 Reanimator is classic Combs!

Oh yea, I've seen that a few times. It's one of my fav Star Trek shows ever. :bolian:

For me, it was his portrayal of Shran that really was great. Shran and Archer had a great relationship that evolved over the entire run of ENT, and Combs did a great job. He is at his best in the end of ENT S3 as the Xindi arc is reaching it's apex.

Weyoun. Vortas always win.

:p

Weyoun. In my opinion, there is no contest. He brought all of his characters to life well, but Weyoun is simply a more interesting character than the one-dimensional Brunt or Shran (though I did like the former in "The Magnificent Ferengi", the latter always seemed like a waste of Jeffrey Combs' talents)

All of them, including Penk and Officer Mulkahey.

It's "Jeffrey Combs" btw, and hot-linking images not hosted on your own space is considered poor form.

Weyoun - A marvellous character and easily IMHO the most interesting one out of the bunch. It gave Comb's juicy material, and he dived right into it and took it to the full. I do miss Weyoun...
