favorite horror movies??

I've only watched a few horror movies, but the ones that stick with me most are.
Jaws
Alien
Bram Stoker's Dracula
The Wolfman (original)
Nightmare on Elm Street (original)
Friday the 13th (original) The music they used whenever the killer was going after a victim still pops into my head occasionally
The Thing (John Carpenter version) Has anybody who was involved ever said if either of the two survivors at the end is the alien?

Love horror genre except the torture porn stuff. My favorites are ghost stories, and especially Asian horror.

This thread made me want to search for and watch movies that I haven’t seen.

Deathgasm - A band of metal heads accidentally unleash demons upon their town. This one is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Seriously. Go watch it.

Little Evil (Netflix) - A man gets married and (literally) becomes the stepfather to the spawn of Satan.

Cooties - All the children at an elementary school get infected with a virus that turns them into zombies.

Not a movie but I’ve been watching Todd and the Book Of Pure Evil, and it’s awesome!

How about "C.H.U.D" For along time I remembered liking this movie as kid but so much time had past since I last saw it I basically forgot everything about it other than their being monsters made from sewage and toxic waste under New York. I watched it not that long ago and had forgotten all about the homeless angle or that it stared Daniel Stern the dad from "HOme ALone" and Commander Sinclair of "Babylon 5." The monsters didn't look as scary as I recalled but it's still a neat movie ya should check out.

...and Deathgasm is on my watch list after someone else recommended it to me; good to hear you liked it as well.. Hopefully I have time to watch it this month!

CHUD is one of the flicks that I snuck downstairs to watch as a kid... actually by the time that made the rounds on home cable I was 13 or 14, so I don't think I was still sneaking around at that point. ;)

Fun bit of trivia: Chris Curry who plays Bosch in C.H.U.D. played a bit part in the Voyager episode 11:59 (that I just happened to watch the other day) as the other auto driver Janeway hits at the beginning of the ep.

I'll watch just about anything with vampires, werewolves or giant monsters. LOL. One movie I didn't see anyone mention is Silent Hill, I thought that was a great movie.

I've seen Deathgasm a couple times now. Great fun.

If you like that, you might also try Housebound. A fun little flick about somebody under house arrest.

And speaking of New Zealand movies, how the hell has no one mentioned What We Do In The Shadows yet?????

^ I found What We Do In The Shadows last night and immediately watched it. Loved it!

Another good one is Fresh Meat, about a group of criminals who take a family of cannibals (unknown to them) hostage.
