My favorite game of all time, because I played it so much and had so much fun with my online team mates was Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge.
Released in the fall of 2001, it's graphics are poor by today's standards, but no game has given me as much fun as that one.
Don't play it anymore, but I have only good memories of it.

Portal, who doesn't remember the warm instructions from GLaDOS and the beautiful song at the end.
KotoR, the true Star Wars RPG. Mass effect improved on almost all of the aspects of the game, but KotoR was the origin.
Burnout Paradise, open-world gaming and racing done right.
