Favorite Entrance/Introduction Scenes?

Do you have any favorite character introductions from the movies? I'm thinking stuff like our first glimpse of Admiral Kirk in the shuttlecraft window in TMP, Spock in meditation during the Kohlinar ceremony on Vulcan, or Just-Beamed-In Disco McCoy.

Thinking about it, I suppose my favorites are Admiral Kirk dramatically backlit in silhouette as he enters the mock Enterprise bridge in TWOK, and the slow, operatic reveal of Khan as he removes his desert garments from the same movie. They both give the characters a real sense of importance. The reveal of Spock at the Starfleet briefing in TUC is pretty good, too.

What scenes were the coolest (re)introduction of a character in the movies?

TMP has great intros for both Kirk and Spock. McCoy also has a great introduction in that film. Sadly, nobody else did so well with good introductions.

I'm not sure if it counts, but I always thought it was rather spiffy when it's revealed that Spock is in the center seat on the Klingon BoP in TFF.
I was thinking the characters' initial introductions in each respective film, but that was a cool reveal.

I love seeing Bones watching Kirk climb El Capitan through the binoculars talking to himself. "You'll have a great time, Bones. You'll enjoy your shore leave. You'll relax."

It's also pretty cool in Insurrection when Data beats the shit out of the other guys in cloaking suits, then takes his own off in the middle of town.

The correct answer, of course, is Mama Borg from First Contact - having mechanical tentacles lowering her living "bust" into the rest of her body while she crooned (in a weirdly relaxing tone), "I am the beginning. I am the one who is many." Needless to say, her various scenes with Data were darkly fascinating and mysterious.

See, this is one of dozens of examples of how I can prove that "First Contact" is demonstrably the best of all Star Trek feature films. It had more effective scenes and various story/character details than I can keep track of. Also, that ultimate Picard acting scene - "I....WILL MAKE THEM !!!PAY!!! FOR WHAT THEY'VE DONE" deserved an Oscar for that scene alone.

Honestly, Sybok riding out of the sandstorm in slow motion with the heartbeat and breathing sounds booming was pretty intense.

That intro was also boosted by Goldsmith's poignant music with the "Share your pain with me" mind-meld, which smoothly evolved into the giant, room-shaking Star Trek "musical march" we all know and love. I admit that beginning scene of Star Trek V had such a perfect atmospheric of a desolate setting combined with the music and sound in general. I think the first several minutes of the movie were the best, they had some slick musical transitions.
