There's nothing quite like the swagger of the original Kirk and Spock. I like the new Kirk and Spock, but the climax for both movies had them separated, which is a shame.
I prefer original Kirk and Spock over Picard and Riker, if only for the personal opinion that the former duo were very much friends, whereas the latter seemed to be the height of a professional relationship -- very practical, very paternal, but they clearly didn't hang out during off hours very much. Riker seemed to be closer to others in the crew instead.

Same here. With the exception of rank, Kirk and Spock were clearly presented as equals. Picard and Riker not so much.
There can be no other - Kirk & Spock.
Kirk and Spock. Hands down. They have been with me (and many others, I know) almost 50 years now and are the best command team I know.

Agreed, Picard and Riker's relationship was very much professional, but there really wasn't much of a friendship.
Also Archer and T'Pol seemed to clash more than any of the other pairings, it is a wonder that they were able to get anything accomplished.

TNG is my personal favorite series, but in this category you just can't beat the classic Kirk/Spock relationship.
Honorable mention to Sisko/Kira, because they presented a pretty interesting contrast.

For me, there is only one Equation that Works: The Command Duo of Picard and Riker. You will note also, that there is none of the usual TOS-type slashyness involved in the best damn STAR TREK series, ever made! These two leaders are squared away ... and they keep the Mickey Mouse to a minimum!
