I did like the JJ Bridge, minus the lens flares. Would have made a good one for a post Nemesis ship.

The lighting was fantastic in Generations. The lighting in the series was way to harsh and made the place look like a hospital waiting room or hotel lobby.

No. I like it the other way round. In GEN the lighting was like that of a Klingon bridge. Gloomy and it didn't match to a ship with children on board. The lighting was better suited for the Enterprise E/First Contact and tough battle scenes.

Best to worst:

Enterprise D from Generations
A from the end of Voyage Home
ST09/ID
Beyond
USS Vengeance
Kelvin
TFF
TUC
Voyager
TMP
TWOK
Enterprise E
Reliant
TOS

The Defiant's bridge is also pleasing. For me and for Worf, who obviously enjoyed it when he was allowed to take command.

The Defiant and the NX-01 are the two whose bridges seem the most realistic to me. Voyager and the Sovereign exist at the opposite end of that scale, being too vast, flashy and obviously movie set-like.

I like the Constitution refit from the Motion Picture. I was 8 in 1979 and seeing that film in a theatre was very impressive. I liked the film then and I still like it now.

I can find something to appreciate in them all and love the TOS bridge since it started the franchise. I also like what I am seeing on Discovery.

I'm torn between the two below. I like the lighting of the second one better I think, but I don't care much for the monster maroons. It's a toss up between the two control panel designs as well (I love the green and yellow hexagonal buttons, but those blue and green okudagrams are so cool). I guess just take the first one exactly as it is, then add the light bars from the wall bases of the second one.

Interesting my favorite connie bridges is the ones from Star Trek 5 and Star Trek 6. I don’t they just seem more real in a way and hey more people get to sit

You don't get a second chance to make a first impression. I've always loved the appearance of the bridge of (Hunter) Pike's ship. Love that zoom down through the dome on top to the action within! And the clean lines and futurism of the place remain fresh and exciting, even with all that's come along since. It truly screams star trek. And I love it to pieces!

The main thing that I like about the NX bridge is that there's very little doubling up of responsibilities and each of the main roles (piloting, navigation, communications, weapons, engineering) can and mostly are handled by seperate officers, the closest to an exception being navigation, but that's still a logical split between helm and science for the most part) with none of the oddities of other designs (helm and weapons being combined on the Connie, Weapons and Comms on the Galaxy-class), or the Defiant where at least half the time the stations seemed to change randomly, apart from the foreward console which was at least helm/navigation, but also had weapons controls at least in The Search. As used, my second fav is probably the Voyager bridge as they were mostly single role (apart from Ops/Comm doubling as Science because they didn't bother having a Science Officer).

You know I don’t know about that because the 20 for century there really is no reason for them to have a com officer considering all the things the computer can do and the fact that the communicators are so small and they are universal translator

Enterprise TOS Bridge is my favorite: Classic design, positions are fairly symmetric around the Captain for best command and control, good security due to only one access point, cheap hard chairs to sit in (except the Captain), railings to tumble over, exploding consoles, huh...best design the 23rd century has to offer. God I love it.
