"Favor the Bold"/"Sacrifice of Angels" Line-by-Line!

I can't even recall how many times I had to edit my posts because someone else beat me to a line :)

I have no idea how to control it...but it was fun! :D

Wow, that last couple pages was pure insanity! We need a method of controlling things like that so at least there can be some resemblance of order.

With 2 marathon posters going it's easy to keep order, with 4? Maybe it should be an alphabetical order by the Posters Names.

From Z - A would be fine with me.

Full power posting I like, that's fun, having to edit every other line isn't as much fun. So that's why I bring it up. All in all, this was fun, but if all of us had been in the mix like this for longer, I think it woulda become majorly frustrating.

Always fun to kick some lines back and forth with you too Vanyel. You and me, the original marathoners!

Congratulations, everyone! That was quite a bit of insanity. :)

I'll be back later today with the preparations for our next thread.

I often pulled out of the marathon on a few occasions. With the thread being updated several times while searching, highlighting, copying, and pasting, I guess maybe some of us should remember that it's not exactly a race to the finish line.

It's true, when it's 2 posters just going full power that's one thing, when it's 4-5 competing for getting a line in before having to reedit, that's another.

I always type out the lines and enjoy being able to write in the non dialogue happenings within an episode, but doing that was really tough during the final leg of the episode last night.

If going alphabetically doesn't do it, maybe after you post, you must wait 2 minutes before posting again in a situation like that. (Just brainstorming)

That sounds about right since it's done on some message board systems and to some degree on this site's forum search engine.

Actually I like it how it is. It may not be a race, but it is fun. There were a few times when people were waiting for a poster to edit his line when his post came right after another. No one seemed willing to change and it gave us all a breather until a post was changed or until someone just posted the next line. It was fun. It got my heart pumping and and pain shooting down my left arm. You guys feel that pain too?

Oh and really I just how dumb was Ziyal? She acted like the evacuation was being down covertly by saying she heard about the evacuation when the computer was blaring out the order repeatedly.

Hmm. Should we incorporate that into the official "rules" of the game?

I vote "No." Leave it fun.

I'm gay, but the actress who played Ziyal was hot enough to make me look twice. You ever seen her?

Oh, heck yeah. She was already 34 when she made her debut as Ziyal No. 3. Before that, Jerry Seinfeld was making out with her during "Schindler's List" and saw Georgie disrobe after he was "in the pool." ;)

Should have seen her laying by the pool in As The World Turns. Back then, the sex scenes look down right pornographic compared to what they show now. Oh well, guess I'll never see her play Emily again.
