Sad news. :(
I love his version of "Blueberry Hill."

(Honestly, I had assumed he passed away some time ago)

I've said this elsewhere - there isn't a single song he did that wasn't at least fun - and most were downright good.

(Can't say that about a lot of "artists".)

Fats put the New Orleans stamp on rock and roll. Sad to hear he is gone. How's Little Richard these days? Hope he is okay.

RIP, Fats.

I don't know how many times I've sung "Ain't That a Shame." A lot. It's hard for me to imagine much greater praise for a songwriter than to observe that many, many people enjoy singing, or even just quoting, the song themselves incidentally in their lives, not to mention listening to a recording of it. I know also that whenever I would sing or hum "Blueberry Hill," I was always thinking of Fats' version. Rest in Peace.

The world as we know it would not exist without Fats Domino.

Rest in peace, Fats. :(
