I just Googled this series. Christie Golden? Seriously? I know some people have issues with Karen Traviss, but....Golden?

Traviss was all about Mandalorians in general. Fett was just a convenient focus for that. And what she writes, she writes well.

I'm just a bit dubious on how well Golden's style will mesh with Star Wars.

About 15 pages into the first book, will see how it goes.

I'm waiting for paperback. I'm only buying SW books in hardcover now if they're special cases, like Matthew Stover's Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor.

Hopefully after FOTJ, Del Rey/LucasBooks will stop it with these annoying "uber-epic hugest most gigantic conflict in galactic history" megaseries and go back to slightly more contained stories in the style of Bantam's EU run.
