Fatastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindlewald - Prerelease Thread

Well, I meant on the press tour and during Q&As.

I don't recall any interviewer going there last year.
Ah, right gotcha. I don't think so either, which is a shame. On the other hand, while it's a franchise, it has waned greatly since the trilogy (which was reflected by the box office takes) so perhaps people weren't so quick to shine a light. Plus, it was before the Time's Up movement.

One thing about the trailer that I found interesting was it looked like Dumbledore was seeing Grindelwald in the Mirror of Erised. So maybe the movie won't gloss over Dumbledore's feelings for Grindelwald after all?

It was never gping to be "glossing over" the Dumbledore/Grindelwald sitation in the first place.

Certain people online simply chose to make a fuss over the fact that there was no narratively relevant reason for his feelings for Grindelwald to be brought up as if not shoehorning some kind of reference to said feelings meant that Dumbledore was somehow being "diminished" as a character.
