I think the comparison to GotG definitely works pretty well for the show.

I don't mean to hijack the thread, but since it's here I have a quick question. Have we heard any more about the movie since initial announcement?

I don't think the series needs anything else. The Peacekeeper Wars provided excellent closure to the story.

Responding to something from earlier, I remember thinking that it was an Australian or New Zealand show as it was a popular setting at the time and that Ben Browder had a pretty decent American accent.
