FYI, it looks like "Homecoming" is coming out on October the 1st. A post on the "Starship Farragut" Facebook page promoting it says "10/1 and done," which is likely what it means. That being said, I cannot jump to conclusions.

Wow, October 1st? (don't wanna get too excited yet, but good news if it pans out!!):rommie:
Will the Farragut crew add some of the alien species that popped up in TMP and WOK? (though my personal feeling is, they should proceed as Valiant does, adding their own alien races for crew and foes, since each starship is heading in different directions across the galaxy. So they should NOT keep using Vulcans, Klingons, Gorns, Tribbles and Romulans!!

Well, that's what I say "looks like." I do wonder though if Ensign Garrovick in TOS's "Obsession" will be in "Farragut Forward" albeit promoted to a higher rank?

I don't know if I can post this our not but you can see here the progress done on the bridge chairs - the flexible restraining arms that were used in the "butterfly/seashell" bridge chairs featured in TMP, TWOK, TSFS, TVH, the Stargazer bridge in TNG's "The Battle," and a chair on Okana's ship in TNG's "The Outrageous Okana."

Here's are two updates. First one is a song that's going to be in "Homecoming," which is coming out this Friday October 1st. You can listen to it here:

And of course next up is an update on that helm console they're working on for Farragut Forward. See it here: [IMG]

Yeah, they seem to die after a while. I think I need to find a better way of promoting this stuff. However, you should see the latest picture (which is more progress with the helm console).

Yes. But why are the links dying? That usually only happens if the images are deleted from the hosting site.

Well, I'm putting the image links from Facebook directly. It's not like Mr. Broughton is putting them on a website that has stable URLs. I think from here on out when I post new pictures, the links may give out after a while. However, hopefully, most of you have seen the latest picture (the updated work on the helm console!).

I don't think you can hotlink to Facebook pix here. Maybe you should try posting such things as links instead of an images?

Well, I could try that in future. Anyways, tomorrow "Homecoming" gets released.

For those who might be interested, the Starship Farragut team shared the link for Homecoming on their Facebook page today.

Just finished watching. It has its issues but glad it's finally out. I was kinda sad that Michael Bednar was not in it.
I did notice that 2 of the Starbase actors had had previous appearances in other roles on this series.
They do have a post-credits sequence, but for the life of me, I couldn't figure out exactly who was the, I assume,
''surprise returning character'' can anyone reveal it in a spoiler tag?
It is a head-scratcher that it is only at 360p on Youtube. Wassupwitdat?

The file is probably still processing. I imagine the higher res version will become available once YouTube is done with it.

    To answer your other question.
''surprise returning character'' is Mirror Prescott.

You way you do it is upload the video a day or two before you want it released, set a premier date, and give YouTube time to finish deriving its streaming renders.
