I don't know if anyone has posted on this and I completely missed it, but I had to comment on it.
Starship Farragut released the second of their crew logs. In mid December. I don't think the first was released yet as its release on the web is listed as TBD.
I really enjoyed this romp into the adventures of the Farragut. John Broughton seems to be getting more comfortable in front of the camera and his acting has improved. His co-star D.D. Hatcher (I believe her name was) gave a solid and at times funny performance as Geologist Angela Bishop.
Holly and Mike Bednar, although only on screen briefly, turned in some good performances. I was a little disappointed that Hank Prescott (Paul Sieber)wasn't in this, but maybe next time.
The effects were absolutely beautiful. The Farragut looks majestic and the shuttle craft and shuttle bay sequences are beautifully done.
The music is also nicely done. walking a line between the original series and the movies, it add a rich layer to the production.
Not intended to be a deep story, A Rock and a Hard Place weighs in at just 17 minutes and 30 seconds, but is a light and fun vignette well worth the download and the price of admission.

I like that all of the Farragut team's offerings so far have kept that light, adventurous feel to them.
Great job to the Farragut team and to all the others out there who invest their time, money, and heart and soul into these efforts.
