Faran Tahir(ROBAU) Should Visit This Place...

It'd be neat if Tahir and/or more, other TREK actors big and small would drop by and visit this place. Who's been here that we know of? Shatner. Blalock. Those are definities.
This guy was here for a while.

Emh banned her because he thought she was an imposter

She's since been reinstated.

Boy. Talk about an awkward online moment.

Bet he felt like an ass.
There are those who are determined not to let him live it down.

Ever.

We're going to go down in Trekker lore as the online site that treated Leeta like shit.

I think a lot of people in the Trek industry know of the BBS and are actually scared of it.

I'd be wary of us, too. We must be the hardest-to-please collection of fanboys on the Net. Not to mention the most argumentative from what I can gather. In some respects, boards like Wordforge have NOTHING on us for sheer divisiveness.

Something I just remembered, didn't Ron Moore mention in one of his BSG podcasts that he checks out Trek BBS to see what we're saying about BSG?

That was a Photoshop, wasn't it? A fake?

Why would it be? He certainly wouldn't be the first real Trek actor to notice this place. There's no reason to fake something like this.
Except for the fun of it.

Edit:

Compare the one you linked.

Um yes, i photoshopped this one just for fun. And the comment is mine too.

I didn't believe someone would really think it was the real deal. Sorry :D

I think he didn't specifically mention Trek BBS...but I heard that podcast a long time ago so I could be wrong

The BBS is mentioned at the very back of the softcover novel ARTICLES OF THE FEDERATION(2007). We got a nod for helping to inspire the writers.

I'm pretty sure he was naming off various forums he checks out on a regular basis, and among them was Trek BBS.

I didn't actually listen to the podcast in question, but I remember our BSG forum was apeshit over being referanced by Ron Moore.

Oh, that's nice then. Damn my faulty memory :bolian:

We get more attention from the sci-fi and TREK communities than we sometimes think or let on. As I said above, we've been mentioned and credited in at least one or two TREK novels in the past few years.

I think that only course for the next Star Trek live series is "Star Trek: Captain Robau Adventures". :D

Hmm, I would also like to see "Star Trek: CTU" with Kiefer Shuterland, od Ferengi sitcom "Star Trek: The Bussines Frontier". :D

that's because the authors of said books are members and post here on the Lit forum.

Keith DeCandido
David Mack
David R George III
Dayton Ward
Kevin Dilmore
Terri Osborne
William Leisner
James Swallow
Scott Pearson

all authors and all posters to some greater or lesser extent.

I don't visit the Lit forums very often. Thanks for reminding me of their presence there.
