So I got a new computer with a DVD-ROM so I can finally buy those awesomely cheap collections of Marvel comic books! I bought a FF one on the cheap because the complete collection was so expensive but then the damn thing went on sale for $20! But the cheapie covers two extra years (2006 and 2007) then the complete collection.
So my question is this: How was the run of #525-535? This is after the Mark Waid Weirngo era and before the JMS era. 'Cause that's the only thing I don't already own in trades and aren't getting if I buy the complete collection.
Ah if I only I knew I'd be getting this. In the past six months I've bought and read the first SIX B&W Essential trades and all six trades of the Waid era and the Civil War issues of JMS. Coulda saved a lot of money!
And while we're on the subject. I've read the first Mark Millar trade and really enjoyed it. Is the second arc turning out as good? I look forward to buying the trade in a few months.
