So, here's my version of what happened with our dear Admiral

Getting Things Straight

Rated: T (=PG-13), 722 words, Humor/Romance, J/C.
Summary: First Janeway, then Lady Q and finally Chakotay are in for a surprise.

This ficlet is not as serious as Kim's one, but I hope you'll have fun with it

I've been watching all the Janeway bashing in the Lit forum and I have a thought. How about a fanfic challenge to write the resurrection? Am I out of line here?

What if we don't ascribe to the theory that she's dead? Can we pretend the Pocket Book novels are in a Pocket Universe that has no connection with our own, and just write a whiz bang story where the woman never died? Heck, she escaped the BORG Queen how many times, and you're trying to tell me a wall ate her?

That's exactly what I'm doing. Who cares about the Pocket Universe? In my stories Janeway is still alive and well and Kes have her own adventures in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants in which she often cooperates with Janeway and her old buddies. let Pocketbooks have their own boring Pocket Universe........while we, the true fans continue to create enjoyable stories about our favorites!

What if she stays dead, but becomes the captain of a Voyager in Heaven, the crew slowly join her as they pass away. They become their young selves again, and explore the vastness of multi dimensions etc.

Okay... I just found some of my old J/7 fanfic posted on someone's website. I didn't give them permission. In fact, I've had my own fanfic website pulled down for years. That means this person saved my stuff for quite some time on their computer somewhere.

I'm flattered, but I asked them to remove it from their site.

I was really very torn about it. On one hand, that's somewhat of a compliment. On the other hand, I pulled my stuff down for a reason.

What do you guys think? Did I make the right call?

Yes. It's your property and they posted it (took it) with out your permission.

But you can still take it as a compliment.

It it's Adm_Hawthorne (except in TrollKingdom), it's me more than likely. But, I encouraged them to PM here or anywhere else for proof. I think the sites isn't being maintained.
