Fanfic ancient character

Well, I'm writing a fanfic where my main/side character is going to be based off the Ancients. I was wondering where would I find most of my information on them?

Any help would be welcomed. =]

There should be a section on the Ancients at Gateworld-basically, a rough timeline of the history a key events as featured on the shows. Try there first. If that's not enough to get you started, Google 'Stargate Ancients', to see what fan sites you can find that might go into more detail.

Thank you, thank you!!! I just want to make sure I'm getting alot of the facts straight. I dont want to start writing and it all ends up a mess. =]

There are also a couple Stargate wikis, IIRC one is done slightly more professionally and informatively than the other. They might have more info than regular good old Wikipedia.
