Fan Made Dr Who Devious

Haggis and tatties

Vice Admiral
Admiral
At long last after 14 years the last Dr who appearance of John Pertwee in the fan made Who episode Devious is now in the wild.

The plot is simple, its the time between Troughton's regeneration and Pertwee falling out of the Tardis door on earth.

For a fan movie its fantastic and its great to see Petwee in the roles however short for one more time, forget its fan made, forget the sound quality...just enjoy Pertwee and his awesome screen presence one more time in this little vignette...

Holy shit! that was awesome to see Pertwee again in this bridge story, even if it was fan made 15 years ago.

I don't get it. Was this supposed to be longer? The first part seemed like a trailer for a longer adventure. Great to see Pertwee again! Also nice to have a bridge between The War Games and Spearhead from Space.

Really enjoyed that. Great seeing Pertwee again. And I'm always amazed at the hard work that goes into fan productions, particularly in building the sets.

You can read all about it here: http://www.doctorwho-devious.com/

But yes, this group of fans made a story to fill this gap; all we have here are the first and last scenes and clips from the middle, since it was never finished. Some soundbytes of Pertwee from this were used as a hologram in Zagreus.

Ah Jon Pertwee. Making those goofy faces right up to the last. :)

He'll always be my favorite Doctor.

Pertwee never lost the touch. The only Doctor I've ever met. A class act. :techman:

Right, so this says there was a Doctor between 2 and 3 for some reason, and for some reason he shouldn't be the Doctor and gets replaced by the proper Third Doctor? Erm, alright.

Always good to see Hugh Lloyd though.

How does this story fit with Season 6b? :p

For once, USS Bones and I completely agree.

That being said, I loved watching this extra on The War Games DVD set. Seeing Jon Pertwee one last time as The Doctor was a wonderful treat. If only he could still be around to do the audio plays...

Wow. Pertwee slipped right back into character like it was a well worn glove. I had no idea this even existed. That was awesome just for seeing the 3rd Doctor one last time.

I'm pretty sure what's been posted here is just the War Games DVD extra. I thought maybe the film had been completed or something, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Just the excerpts. For example my understanding is the actress who played Polly in the original series also reprised the role for Devious but that footage wasn't included.
