Starship Exeter the Animated Odyssey

24 minute animated version of Starship Exeter.

Flash animation, edited in Final Cut Pro, effects in Adobe After Effects, CGI in Maya.

Unlike the fine folks at Exeter Studios, I will not be setting a release date (I learned from their misery).

Looking for volunteers (see separate post).

Hey you guys forgot Enterprise Season5.

LOL.
Nah. There is a fanfilm in production in the ENT-era: Star Trek Paralllels www.parallels.nl. Cannot give you more information. The site is currently under construction. The productioncrew has an overlap with DarkArmada.

By the way, did you guys knew our (PDA) servers are up and running and are currently hosting a fanbased legobased starwars series? See the Darkarmada site for more information. (It is currently in a testing state. If you have any problems downloading, let me know. Smallband and firefox won't work together, because of the activeX-elements)

Another PDA update: A part of our soundtrack can be listened at the music section of the site.

Yours,

Martin

http://www.sthorizon.com, Poland. Not a bad site at all, a trailer is in the air.

I quote from their site:
Our goal is to create Star Trek fanseries, which will depict events after the 10th ST movie. It will take place on board a Galaxy class starship, USS Horizon. Our series will resemble in principles The Next Generation (one ship, one multiracial crew) and Deep Space Nine (we have planned main plot spinning through the whole series and a few subsidiary ones).

At this moment, pilot is in advanced pre-production phase. First two scripts are written. We also have ideas for several more. We have CGI renderings of starship models and interiors ready. Props and uniforms are currently in production.

We belive that success of this project - which is a first attempt of this kind among Polish Trek fans - will shake our somewhat stagnant fandom. We also hope that it will help to bring back Star Trek to Polish TV.

Starship Farragut, a fan film series taking place in the TOS universe, is one of the newest fan film series coming out. Check out the Farragut website. The first episode is due to be released in February of 2007! Don't miss it!

These are my Star Trek fan films. More of a spoof, they are quite popular! The premise of the show has changed over the past 6 years and they are quite good now.
The captain is called Louis Philippe Tremblay. Other cast members include the boring officer Yeoman Bland, Scottish accent toting Indian actor Science officer Smock, retarded android, Analogue, Number One, slutty Ensign Eazey, Haitian officer Aspirant Grand Tour, attitude and angst filled engineer Geordie Laforge, another character Crewman Bradshaw who dies in every episode and the Star Trek manual flashing Lieutenant Topper. I think I left out a few. Skip the first 13 episodes, we started over at 14 and its really taken off. Let me know what you think!

2) I can't download these to my computer and view it as they should be viewed (full screen).

Little trick for you people wanting to save this to you hard drive for later viewing pleasure. Once QT has cached the whole episode go to "tools, internet options". Under temporary internet files click "settings", then click "view objects". Once there sort the files by size and, generally, the episode you just got will be the largest one. Just right click on it, choose copy and paste it somewhere on your hard drive that's easy to remember and there you go!

There are also links where it is available for download but, I do not have them handy at the moment. There is also, umm another umm, oh forget it. I must remember where I am.
I'm interested in the Starship Exeter series, and have run into the same problem as the poster you replied to had. On my old computer with Win ME, I could save a QT file by going into the temporary internet files as you mentioned, and copying it to the documents folder. But now on this new pc with WinXP, that little trick doesn't seem possible. I can't find any file the same size as the download. Arrgh... :scream:

To all,
Are there any links to Exeter where the episodes can be saved?

Re: Star Trek: Aurora Part 1 (animated)

Um... holy crap that was fantastic!.

Really well done. Terrific storytelling, excellent animation. That flashback of the Mercury Rising was just riveting, not to mention chilling.

Can't. Wait. For. More. :)

This is the first 12 minutes of what will probably run just under an hour. Hope you like it.

Very good stuff! One thing though; the background sounds are too loud. Especially the first part with the Vulcan, I could barely if at all understand what the characters were saying. The voices should be a bit louder, and/or the background sounds less loud.

Just discovered this particular project this morning... egads! This is freakin' sweet! To those debating about viewing this... take the time... it is WORTH IT!

Any word on new installments?

I don't see Stone Trek listed here ( http://www.stonetrek.com ). It's a parody set back in the time/universe of the Flintstones. It's supposed to be a show that would be on TV during that era.

Many animated episodes already available.

I also haven't seen Startrek Vs. Batman listed here.

Part one is up now, looks like they had a lot of fun. "Meanwhile, on a leisurely afternoon patrol of Gotham city, Batman and Robin answer Chief O'Hare's call of a strange UFO high above Gotham."

Both Batman and Star Trek are the versions from the 60's.
