Just in time for Christmas, Fan Film Friday reviews one of the few Star Trek episodes that focuses on the year's biggest holiday and how it fares in the future. Check out one of Hidden Frontier's episodes entitled "Santa Q."
Because of the holiday celebrations, there won't be a new edition of Triple F this week, but we'll get back on track next year. Thanks to all who have read my columns and hopefully discovered the joy of fan films! Here's to a great new year!
The first Triple-F of the new year is now available at SciFiPulse.net. Let's take a look back at the start of one of the most popular independent productions, Hidden Frontier. It began with a three-parter called "Enemy Unknown" that introduces a new villain and the crew of the U.S.S. Excelsior at Deep Space 12.
Sadly, the bug that's going around got around to me this week, so I don't have a shiny new column this Friday. However, I'm looking at an independent production that promises to be magical, so I hope to see everyone next time around.
Well, we survived another week, so here's a new edition of Triple-F (Fan Film Friday). This time we follow Star Trek: Osiris, which has followed up a two-part galaxy-spanning threat with a more personal episode that focuses on turning points for two of the ship's female officers. Enjoy!
This week's fan film is magic as we begin the adventures of Harry Potter's son, James. The first independent production is called "James Potter and the Hall of Elders' Crossing." Enjoy!
A boring assignment for SG-16 turns into a life-or-death struggle when the team visits a planet with a Stargate that only dials in! This leaves the Canadian group caught between the Olympian gods Zeus and Hades in a new adventure called Stargate: "Hades."
Now up for Fan Film Friday is a look at depression through the eyes of an Andorian and the crew of the U.S.S. Excelsior. Reminiscent of the days Trek was "relevant," "Coward's Death" is worth watching.
This week we answer a question that has long been asked by fans of the British science-fiction series Doctor Who: What if the Doctor regenerated into a woman? Find out in this fan film that provides the fourth adventure of a female Doctor, entitled "Broken Doors!"
The weekend is upon us at last, as is the fourth episode from Star Trek: The Romulan Wars. In this chapter, we learn the fate of Captain Stiles, the identity of his new first officer and just how despicable Romulan commanders can be.
Sorry to let you folks know that I took a serious economic downturn this week, so I won't be able to do lFan Film Friday until I can get back on my feet. Be back soon, i hope!
