Family Guy 11/4

Just watching the latest Family Guy episode and there was a spoof of the Best of Both Worlds cliffhanger. Ron Jones who scored the TNG episode also scores Family Guy. The swell of music as Locutus appeared on the viewscreen at the climax of part I is parodied along with the "To Be Continued..." title card in TNG credit font.

I saw that tonight! I heard the music, thought "I know that music..." and it snapped into my head - "Fire!" - that's where it's from! Nice little nod to TNG there.

Not only that, but the sillouette of Lois coming out of the light was meant to bring to mind Locutus as he stepped forward into view on the D's view screen. And the final 10-20 seconds of that peice of music was an EXACT duplicate; but consider Ron Jones did BOBW and Family Guy, no surprise. It was cute. :)

There is also supposed to be a Family Guy episode where Stewie kidnaps the TNG cast. (Wil Wheaton said in his blog) I think it's not supposed to air till next season though.

Saw it on YouTube a few days ago. Great ending.

Where at? Link?

It was taken down. This was before the episode even aired (it still had the Fox watermark behind everything). I had thought it already aired - that was the only reason I watched it.

Fox had them removed.

Yeah they always seem to remove the lastest episode clips and then they start to cull almost every Family Guy clip on you tube. I really dont see the reason. No one is copying them. Whoever does has them removed doesntdo it everyday. Eventually they will be back up.

Saw it; it was great. Not only did they have the music, but the "To Be Continued..." and producer credits were in the TNG credits' font against a black frame; just like at the end of BOBW.
